Selling Girl Scout cookies isn't just about making money, although it usually is the biggest fundraiser for an individual troop and an essential source of revenue for our Council. Girls learn about goal setting, sharpen their interpersonal and management skills, and develop self-confidence by selling cookies to friends and neighbors and working at cookie booth sales. The money they earn helps the troop finance educational activities and field trips. Holding true to the Girl Scout Promise to "help other people at all times", many troops in our district elected to donate all or a portion of their profits from their cookie sales last year to WAAGGS in an effort to help Girl Scouts and Girl Guides in countries devastated by the tsunami.

The 2005 cookie sale ended on March 10th. If you bought cookies from a Girl Scout last year, THANK YOU! If you didn't, we'll be glad to take your order beginning January 1, 2006. See you then!
